Our Cause
Proceeds will directly fund international believers to be equipped, trained, and sent in-order to bring the Gospel back to their own people in their own native tongue. This includes 2 Afghan pastors and their families in hiding, who we are trying to get to America where they can reach incoming Afghan refugees freely with the Gospel. Help us to save some literal lives, so that the Holy Spirit through them, can save many lives over, all for the Glory of God.
SALT INVITATIONAL
Salt Invitational is a fishing fundraiser put on by SALT Next Gen Ministries. SNG, alongside various names in the fishing and outdoor industry, have put together a tournament with two things in mind, competitive and organized fishing as well as gospel centered fundraising. We aim to bring both aspects together without sacrificing the other. This tournament will allow anglers and attendees to fish competitively against each other, to meet some of the great names in the fishing and outdoor industry, and have a chance at winning great raffle and podium prizes. Anglers are able to to do all of this while also contributing to faithful and biblical Gospel growth across the world, all for the glory of God.
PROCEEDS
All donations are tax deductible and 100% of the money raised across this tournament will go directly towards bringing the gospel to the unreached people of the world and towards church planting throughout the 10/40 Window. In addition, a portion of our proceeds will go towards providing scholarships for international men and women identified by our ministry team and our ministry partners in-order to fund them through various SNG programs so that they can be trained, equipped, and then sent with the Gospel to their own people. The only formula given to us for through scripture for the commission is the local church. Local church is EVERYTHING. So Gospel growth MUST come to and through the local church. In some cases, bringing the Gospel to the nations is as simple as coming along side existing local churches. In other cases, this means revitalizing and training up existing unhealthy churches, but in most cases across the 10.40 window, this means planting churches where none exist. Help us raise up local churches. Help us reach the nations. Join with us in bringing all the Glory to God.
SNG MINISTRY
SALT Next Gen is a 501(c)3 ministry that exists to train and to send the next generation of student missionaries to share the Gospel for the glory of God. The heart of our ministry revolves around our GAP year and college residency programs where students come to Nashville, TN to be trained through an immersive residency for one semester before being launched abroad along side our overseas partners for anywhere from a semester to several years. It is in this time while in Nashville, that our students are trained and prepared by being immersed in the local refugee and international community along side our Resident Ministry Team missionaries. Just as we prepare and place missionaries to reach the nations overseas, the Lord has been bringing the nations to us locally through refugee resettlement and immigration. Join with us in preparing, training, and placing the next generation of missionaries to reach the nations, stateside and abroad, with the Gospel for the glory of God.
